Find and create your own static 2D maps

Google Maps is a map service that you view in your web browser. Depending on your location, you can view basic or custom maps and local business information, including business locations, contact information, and driving directions. Click and drag maps to view adjacent sections immediately.
The Navigation Controls
The navigation controls you see at this webpage are shown on the left. Navigation controls include:
- Arrows[ < ^ v > ] - Click the appropriate arrow buttons to move the view north, south, east or west. Click Center button to return to your original view.
- Zoom[ - + ] - Click + to zoom in on the center of the map. Click - to zoom out.
- Zoom slider - Drag the zoom slider up or down to zoom in or out incrementally.
The MapType Controls
- Map displays the default road map view.
- Satellite displays Google Earth satellite images.
- Hybrid displays a mixture of normal and satellite views.
- Terrain displays a physical map based on terrain information.
- Elevation displays a shaded terrain map of the Moon's surface, color-coded by altitude.
- Infrared displays a shaded infrared map of the Mars's surface, where warmer areas appear brighter and colder areas appear darker.
- Visible displays a mosaic of the sky, as seen from Earth, covering the full celestial sphere.
Note: this map tool is only calculate limited distances in nation zone and calculated positions have been made in Google Maps.
All features of Google Maps are available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Leichtenstein, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the U.K., and the U.S. For instance: driving directions,...
There's some map data from Google Maps available in other countries, too. If you can't find map data for your country, you might be able to add it through Google Map Maker.
Business owners can use the Google Local Business Center to add verified business listings to Google. You can check if it's available for your country by looking through the drop-down menu in the Local Business Center.
If you are a webmaster, you can add your locations onto Google Maps and Google Earth through KML file. This is a valid KML 2.2 file.
Create Simple Static Maps
If your location has not registered or can not register on Google Maps through Google Static Map Wizard, created by Google, you can use the map tool on this page to create static maps for your own.
Drag the cursor to your location on the map and then click on that position. A map data window on your location will appear on the map. Then you can copy and paste the parameters corresponding on map data window in the form below:

Parameters:
LATITUDE,LONGITUDE: (required), Latitude,Longitude value on information window at your position. This parameter takes a comma-separated {latitude,longitude} pair (e.g. "40.714728,-73.998672") identifying a unique location on the face of the earth. Longitude values are based on their distance from Greenwich, England.
COLOR: Color for map makers such as black, brown, green, purple, yellow, blue, gray, orange, red, white. included parameter: normal (default), tiny, mid, small. e.g. tinyred, smallblue.
ZOOM_LEVEL: Zoom level defines the zoom level of the map, which determines the magnification level of the map. This parameter takes a numerical value corresponding to the zoom level of the region desired. Zoom levels between 0 (the lowest zoom level, in which the entire world can be seen on one map) to 19 (the highest zoom level, down to individual buildings) are possible within the normal maps view.
XxY: Size defines the rectangular dimensions of the map image. This parameter takes a string of the form valuexvalue where horizontal pixels (X) are denoted first while vertical pixels (Y) are denoted second. For example, 500x400 defines a map 500 pixels wide by 400 pixels high. If you create a static map that is 100 pixels wide or smaller, the "Powered by Google" logo is automatically reduced in size.
MAP_TYPE: roadmap (default If no maptype value is specified), mobile, satellite, terrain, hybrid, mapmaker-roadmap or mapmaker-hybrid specifies a roadmap using tiles from Google Map Maker.
MAPS_API_KEY: (required) please sign up for a Google Maps API key.
LOGICAL: (required), true or false depend on your device e.g if you use GPS locator or Mobile device supporting Google Maps, you use sensor=true. Otherwise, you use sensor=false.
